Orthodox Wedding & Christening Shop

Orthodox Occasions makes Orthodox christening candles, wedding candles, christening bundles and personalised keepsakes. I make them all by hand at home in Australia. Christening candles start at $80, wedding candles are $250 a pair and keepsakes start at $20.

Orthodox Occasions is based in Melbourne. I make everything at home there and post orders anywhere in Australia. I do not post overseas at the moment.

Yes, my shop is on Etsy and every piece on this site is listed there. You order and pay on Etsy, and you can message me and track your parcel there too. Questions before you order can also come through the contact page.

I make for Greek, Serbian, Macedonian and Russian Orthodox families. The same candles and keepsakes are used across these traditions in Australia, so there is no separate range for each. What changes is the colour, the spelling of the names and whether the lettering is Latin or Cyrillic.

Yes, everything is made to order by hand, one piece at a time. Names, initials and dates go on most pieces, so I confirm the spelling with you before I start. Each order begins once you have said yes to the wording.
