Who I am

Orthodox Occasions is me, Natasha. I make christening candles, wedding candles and personalised keepsakes at home in Australia and post them Australia-wide. There is no team. If you message the shop, I am the one who answers, and I am the one who makes your order.

What I make

• Christening candles in seven colours, from $80 to $130 AUD, each finished with an Orthodox cross. See the christening candles.
• Luxury christening bundles at $350 AUD, with a matching candle and a personalised acrylic cross. See christening gifts and bundles.
• Wedding candles (lambades) in neutral colours with your names or initials in gold lettering, $250 AUD a pair. See wedding candles.
• Personalised keepsakes: brush and comb sets, first curl boxes, holy water bottles, acrylic hangers and embroidered Sheridan towels.

How I work

Everything is made to order. Names, initials and dates go on most of what I make, so I confirm the spelling with you before I start. That one step saves more candles than anything else I do.

I use materials that hold up. A christening candle is kept for years, not burnt down on the day, so the wax, the ribbon and the tulle have to last well past the ceremony. The towels are Sheridan.

Everything is made and posted from Australia. I do not post overseas.
